The Woodman' Pal® Classic has a handmade hardwood ash handle!
Our most popular model. The Woodman' Pal® Classic has a handmade hardwood ash handle that's made to fit the user's hand snugly. The wrist strap allows for quick dropping and retrieval with the same hand, when necessary. The special high carbon manganese steel used for all our blades is hardened to Rockwell C47, which gives it strength for cutting and flexibility in cold weather. The Classis has a 6" ash wood grip; a 1/8" rigid steel blade that is 10-1/2" long; making the tool 16-1/2 overall and weighing 22.8oz. The blade edge is able to cut wood up to 1-1/2" diameter with a single stroke. The unique sickle hook slices through stubborn vines and briars and removes unwanted sprout growth at ground level. It's a perfect tool when you demand the best.
