One and Two Person Camping Tents
One person, or solo, tents are camping tents designed for the lone camper or hiker. The two person tent can be used by the solo backpacker for extra room or for hikers using the "buddy system." These camping tents offer protection from the elements at a reduced weight, and for the weight conscious camper or hiker, the one person camping tent is exactly what they are looking for. Selecting the right camping or backpacking tent is a personal choice and involves several different variables. So, if a light pack matters more to you than a spacious bedroom (say, you're a high country summer hiker who hasn't seen rain in years), you may want to go for the tighter quarters and reduced weight that a one person solo camping tent offers.
